    Love this, quick question. What was the reason for that additional 2-3 ft of aggregate in front of wall? Seems like a bit of overkill? Don’t know

    Nice work on the patio. Really enjoyed the explanations. Curious, did you keep the whole patio level? Building a similar project at home. Ill have a raised patio against the house and another patio next to it that is down 1 step. The raised patio will have a kitchen. Also would love to see who you guys laid the drainage for the patio.

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping 2 дня назад

      our patios are generally very level, some with a very very slight slope just for drainage, depending on what the situation calls for! But usually level! - We do have some other videos that would show our drainage solutions in them!

    how do you keep the liner up coming out of the vault though? donyou just build the grade up around the liner to keep it being a low point or leaking? or do you foam it? sorry i just asked so many questions at once lol

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping 10 дней назад

      I just build the grade up so that I don't have a low edge. But usually that is the lowest point of the basin and if you overfill the basin that will be the first place that it will spill out.

    I've been watching your videos for a while now, and I was wondering how you quote for water features? We live in Ga, so I know it will probably vary, but just an idea of how to figure jobs and give estimates.

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping 10 дней назад

      That's a fairly tough question to answer. Each company is run a little differently and has different overhead costs as well as different material costs. There was a time a number of years ago that a rough guess would be something like $1,000 a foot but with rising prices I think that in most companies that would still be too low.

    What is this block product that doesn't require a step back with each course? I need to build a stairway into my wall, and I don't want the look of the stairs being wide at the top then funneling down. Thanks!

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping 10 дней назад

      Most block manufacturers produce a block that can be built either vertical or with a step back. This block has a plastic clip and depends where you place that clip dictates whether your wall is vertical or step back.

    Nice build, and very educational. I want to build a super large waterfall on my three acre lake . Like 20 foot tall and forty wide. I am having a hard time to find any information on how to plum it. What types of pumps to use. Flow rate etc. can you do a video on the water flow/ plumbing part of a build

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping 10 дней назад

      Aquascape has some very good flow rate charts to help you choose the best pump factoring in the amount of head you have. Either way for that size feature it's going to take a number of pumps. I figure 12 to 20 inches of spillway width per 10,000 gph. Hopefully that helps. Good luck on your feature! That sounds like a fun one wish I could come help build 😜

    I 1000% prefer the before photo. It was lush with natural vegetation. It was beautiful it respected nature and it was calming my nervous system to look at it. I am really, really tired of humanity trying to control nature and in the process honestly making it uglier. This civilization is going in the wrong direction and this is a typical example of that.

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping 4 дня назад

      Hey there! I went back and confirmed that in the before videos, they were using this drag bucket and they were... The fish were already acclimated to that water with the flow going over the bucket, it was just placed a different way. The homeowner will keep an eye on the iron levels in the water and should there ever be an issue, it would be taken care of! - I was just there last week and the fish are doing great and the pond is stunning!
